Background

IHM southern Africa is responding to Expression of Interest (EOI) opportunity within the Government of the Republic of Zambia. The opportunity we are responding to encourages partnerships. Hence this call from our end to organizations that will meet the requirements. Our aim is to create a consortium that will offer unparalleled technical depth and deliver capacity for the government. IHM’s expertise lies predominantly in the health sector. To complement our strengths, we are actively seeking firms that bring valuable experience in Agriculture, Education, and Social Welfare. Interested firms with expertise in these sectors are invited to join us in this collaborative effort for a more impactful response.

This activity is contingent upon funding and award.

The anticipated two-year project will support the government of Zambia’s objectives which are;

1. Support software architecture development, technology selection, and development methodologies, aligning with our overall business objectives and long-term vision.

2. Collaborate closely with our internal teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement definition and project planning to execution, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

3. Ensure seamless integration of new software systems with existing infrastructure, optimize performance, and implement robust maintenance procedures.

4. Foster a collaborative environment through knowledge sharing initiatives, workshops, and comprehensive training programs for teams, empowering them with the latest tools and best practices.

As a Consortium member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall vision, providing both technical and administrative leadership, shaping the future of government systems by participating in strategically significant projects that drive tangible value and country-wide impact.

Required Qualifications:

Web-Based Infrastructure Management: Proven experience in managing web-based systems and implementing successful infrastructure strategies.

Geographic Coverage Experience: Demonstrate your experience in managing IT infrastructure for numerous facilities across the country. Showcase your skills in negotiating and putting resilient infrastructure in place, ensuring seamless project execution.

Proven Track Record: A well-established firm with a demonstrably successful portfolio of diverse software development projects across the Education, Agriculture, and Welfare sector.

Expertise & Depth: A robust team of experienced firms boasting comprehensive expertise in cutting-edge technologies, established methodologies, and industry best practices.

Collaborative & Agile: A communication-oriented and collaborative approach, fostering close partnerships with our internal teams and promoting seamless knowledge exchange.

Integration & Maintenance Prolific: Extensive experience in successfully integrating complex software systems and implementing robust ongoing maintenance strategies.

Training Champions: A commitment to knowledge transfer through structured training programs, workshops, and ongoing mentorship, empowering our internal talent to achieve greater autonomy and success.

Political Savvy: Emphasize the importance of navigating political landscapes. Showcase the ability to understand and work within the political nuances associated with designated sector.
