JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview: To establish robust systems that minimize data inaccuracies, thoroughly interrogate and validate data across all agronomy-based systems, and implement corrective actions for any non-conformities. As well as ensure that the data in our systems accurately reflects real-world conditions and serves as a single source of truth, in alignment with the Data Integrity Governance Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish a baseline of data integrity with latest complete crop data and trend analysis
• Daily extraction of field technician collected GMS data for desktop validation against set parameters.
• Follow up tracking of identified errors and data inconsistencies to rectification and closure.
• Ensure findings from data deficiency checks are incorporated into field technician training.
• Daily incidence checks , reporting and ensure data ground validation is at 100%
• Management of Grievance Mechanism – Agronomy Hotline

Requisite Qualifications and Experience
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Statistics/Data science or similar/related field.
• Experience in Data Collation and Analysis, Business Analysis, and Statistical Management.
• GMS (Grower Management System) experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Agronomy/Tobacco is an added advantage.
