JOB DETAILS:

Purpose Of A Job
Carry out maintenance and repair of all mechanical and plant equipment for maximum availability and efficient operation.

Main Duties
• Carrying out Preventive maintenance jobs according to preventive maintenance check lists, instructions and applicable work procedures.
• Identify methods and procedures required to carry out and aid machining or assemblies’ tasks.
• Identify and diagnose broken down operating equipment and draw lists of requirements.
• Identify and diagnose equipment with planned repairs and draw lists of requirements.
• Carry out repairs according to standard work procedures applicable.
• Carry out planned repairs according to standard work procedures applicable and schedule.
• Carry out all none break down jobs within working hours and scheduled over times.
• Undertake and agree to performance targets.
• Prepare and submit to network repairs reports to the Superintendent – Water Production on a monthly basis.

Qualifications And Experience
• Grade 12(Form v) School Certificate including Mathematics.
• Craft Certificate in Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Diploma in Sheet Metal Fabrication or its equivalent from a recognized Institution will be added advantage
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
