Overview:
• As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day activities within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational processes, managing resources efficiently, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Contribute to the development and execution of long-term business plans.
• Process Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.
• Streamline operational procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Resource Management:
• Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of products or services.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Develop and manage budgets for operational activities.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Vendor Management:
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions to business activities.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between different departments.
• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork to achieve common goals.
• Technology Integration:
• Identify and implement relevant technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate regular reports on operational performance for senior management.
• Analyse data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, at least 5 year experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using business management software and tools.
