JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
• Responsible for overseeing the Packaging and Dispatch Operations within the Production Facility. Your primary focus will be to ensure that products are efficiently and accurately packaged according to quality standards and customer requirements. You will lead a team of packaging operators, coordinate packaging processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Key Responsibilities:

Packaging:
• Maintain optimal stock levels of packaging and labels (of Quality condition).Produce Purchase Requests in order to achieve this.
• Acknowledge received items (Physical count) and transfer to storage.
• Overseeing and recording all stock movement in and out on Bin-cards, then inputting of data into labels & Packaging Stock sheet.
• Issue out all requests made and by following company protocol. Using requisitions and filling it out accurately.
• Acknowledge all returns and record accordingly into stock sheet & Bin-card.
• Maintains stock sheets for packaging and labeling.
• Guide packaging team on daily agenda and ensure they are following tasks in timely manner
• Stock count at least 10 items daily (physical matches Bin-cards).

Dispatch:
• Cross checking orders with stock in hand, removing any out of stock items.
• Writing down best before and production dates on order prep board and delegating the entire order prep flow.
• Doing thorough checks on Production quality, Best Before dates and Production dates on each item. Final QC check is when items are put in designated dispatch area.
• Cross checking all items being packed in designated areas are checked with the order sheet.
• Final cross check to be verified with order sheet, Invoice and stock in hand.
• Dispatch of items to be done in a timely manner, cross checking invoices with order sheets with stock on hand.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Familiarity with dispatch software and tools.
– Effective communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications are a plus.
