We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to help grow our brand’s presence and engage with our customers across various platforms.
Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager will oversee the development and execution of social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage riders and drivers, and support our marketing efforts. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing community interactions, and using data insights to optimize our social media presence. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in driving customer loyalty and expanding our reach within the rideshare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with brand voice and business objectives, including growing awareness and user engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage content across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), with an emphasis on community-building and user interaction.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts into broader campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely, friendly, and professional manner, fostering positive engagement and brand loyalty.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Track social media performance metrics (e.g. engagement rates, reach, conversions) and provide regular reports to management, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Run targeted paid social media campaigns to drive app downloads, increase ridership, and attract new drivers and riders.
• Manage user-generated content, encourage testimonials, and showcase real-life stories from riders and drivers.
• Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to expand the brand’s reach and credibility.
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms while maintaining an engaging and approachable tone.
• Stay informed about the rideshare industry, customer feedback, and public perception to address any concerns and maintain a positive reputation.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role, ideally within the transportation, technology, or consumer services industries.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and community management best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content for diverse audiences.
• Experience in running paid social media campaigns (e.g. Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
• Strong analytical skills and experience using social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite).
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce fresh, engaging content that speaks to the unique aspects of the rideshare experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with video editing or graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• A passion for the transportation industry and improving the customer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
