At Newrest Zambia Ltd, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality food products through innovative and efficient production processes. We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining our food production unit.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and reduces downtime.
• Utilize computer-based maintenance management systems to track and document maintenance work.
• Support the diagnosis and resolution of mechanical and technical issues with production machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand maintenance needs and priorities.
• Observe safety protocols and ensure all maintenance work complies with industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field is required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a food production setting.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management software effectively.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
