Armaguard Security Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced members of the public for the following vacant positions:

1) Assistant Accountant – Revenue
The Assistant Accountant – Revenue will be responsible for the following duties;
• Assist to ensure that billing of all customers is complete and reconciliation between the General Ledger and billing system is done and submitted to the Finance Director
• Assist to ensure all billed customers are at all times fully reconciled and all customer receipts are posted in the accounting system
• Assist in circulating account statements to all said customers and ensure they acknowledge the statements
• Assist in engaging the customers to explore the possibility of sending them electronic invoices and firmly agreed payment date
• Together with the entire revenue team and with input from Finance Manager, endeavour to design a repeatable billing process that starts at specific appointed date and closes at a given date i.e Billing to be done by 7th day of the subsequent month
• Assist in liaising with Debt Collection that a collection of above 80% is achieved on customers on a monthly basis
• Assist in designing a process that details points for formally reminding customers are clear and that this is followed to ensure company’s cash flow stability is shielded
• Aspire and document monthly billing process improvement with input of Finance Manager
• Assist in submitting monthly sales report as per provided template and ensure report reconciles with sales per General Ledger
• To carry out any other duties as may be assigned to you by Executive Management.

Requirements and Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better in Mathematics and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a diverse business environment.
• Professional accounting certifications (e.g., ZICA, CIMA, and ACCA) are a plus.
• Experience in financial and management accounting
• A member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
• Knowledge of Microsoft office, Sage 200 Evolution will be an added advantage

2) Accounts Assistant – Payables
The Accounts Assistant – Payables will be responsible for the following duties;
• Assist in posting of payments in the accounting system
• Assist to rehearse with suppliers on credit terms of payment
• Satisfaction of internal needs such as petty cash, motor vehicle maintenance, travel and technical requirements
• Assist in maintaining of lease payment schedules
• Assist in the updating of payments at close of business
• Proper filing for processed documents
• Assist in uploading VAT (Value Added Tax) WHT (Withholding Tax) on ZRA (Zambia Revenue Authority) online system and reconcile the accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of payment vouchers for all payments
• To carry out any other duties as may be assigned to you by Executive Management.

Requirements and Qualifications

3) ATM Custodians
Primary Duties:
ATM Up time
• Ensure that the ATM terminals are correctly stocked with cash and stationery (as per order instruction)
• Maintain close liaison with control centre to ensure that equipment problems are dealt with promptly.
• Ensure that potential faults that could cause equipment to malfunction are identified and resolved timeously
• Ensure that all ATM terminal cubicles are kept clean and maintained in good condition.

ATM Cash/Replenishment
• Control ATM cash according to laid down instructions (ATM, bags or canisters must be sealed)
• Balance cash at required intervals (add or top up)
• Ensure correct process has been followed and correct details entered on the ATM (system)
• Obtain slips for every replenishment
• Report no service or change in service
• Report and action differences in ATM cash promptly (daily or as and when required/instructed)
• Ensure that Atm cash is safeguarded against unnecessary and preventable loss (at all times)

Reports/Reconciliation
• Action ATM reports as listed on the duty list promptly in terms of laid down instructions.
• Ensure ATM slips are controlled and delivered to the cash centre
• Reconcile ATM cash daily (same day) as per laid down procedure
• Not allow to leave premises if not in balance

Qualifications and Skills
• Full grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better in Mathematics and English
• A minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration/ a degree in a business-related field will an added advantage
• Must have a minimum of 3 years work experience in a cash related field
• Time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communications and customer relations
• Valid driver’s licence is an added advantage
• Clean criminal and credit reference bureau
