JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibility
• Must be able to make pastries( pies, samosa, shawarma) etc.
• Assist chef and other Kitchen staff in various food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, marinating etc.
• Assist in preparation of basic dishes when required
• Help in packing and occasionally serve food.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify chef when items need restocking
• Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation
Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in food production or related field is an added advantage
• Knowledge of local Zambian foods
• Must be physically fit
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
