JOB DETAILS:
St. Mark School is looking for qualified and experienced teachers to join our dynamic teaching staff. We are committed to fostering a nurturing and high-quality learning environment and are seeking educators who share this vision.

1. Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teachers – 2 Positions
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate learning and development in young children through play-based and structured activities.
• Teach foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Monitor and document children’s progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in ECE.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

2. Primary School Teachers – 5 Positions
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach core subjects including Mathematics, English, Social Studies, and Science to primary school students.
• Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance regularly.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Participate in school activities and extracurricular programs.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

3. Secondary School Teachers – 8 Positions
We are looking for passionate teachers for the following subjects:
A. Chemistry
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry to secondary school students.
• Prepare laboratory experiments and ensure lab safety during practical sessions.
• Evaluate students' performance through assignments and exams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

B. Physics
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in Physics and its practical applications.
• Prepare and supervise experiments in the laboratory.
• Support students in achieving academic success in Physics.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or related fields.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

C. Biology
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach biological sciences, including human anatomy, ecology, and genetics.
• Guide students in practical experiments and research projects.
• Monitor student progress and provide additional support where needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related fields.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

D. Agricultural Science
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the principles of agriculture, crop production, and animal husbandry.
• Guide students in hands-on agricultural projects and fieldwork.
• Prepare students for careers in agriculture through practical knowledge.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Agricultural Science or related fields.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

E. Home Economics (HE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach topics such as nutrition, family management, and textiles.
• Organize practical lessons in cooking, sewing, and other home-related skills.
• Assess student projects and practical exams.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Home Economics or related fields.
• Three years of teaching experience.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

F. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach basic and advanced ICT skills, including programming and hardware maintenance.
• Conduct practical lessons in computer labs.
• Prepare students for ICT-related certifications and careers.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

G. Religious Education (RE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach religious studies, including ethics and values.
• Promote an understanding of diverse religious beliefs.
• Engage students in discussions about moral and spiritual growth.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Religious Studies or related fields.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).

H. Social Studies (SS)
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach topics in history, geography, and civics.
• Encourage critical thinking and analysis of social and historical events.
• Support students in understanding cultural and societal dynamics.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Social Studies or related fields.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
