JOB DETAILS:
NFC Africa Mining PLC (Chambishi Mine) an international mining company with its core business being the development of non-ferrous metals and mineral resources in Zambia. In our quest to continue supplementing Government effort by creating more local jobs, it is for this reason that we seek to employ suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic individuals to fill the vacant positions below:

2. LHD Operator (x5)

He /she will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements such as observing stipulated safety codes at all times. The job will involve lashing development ends and stopes, hauling ore, or waste materials to underground assigned areas. The operator is expected to load Trucks and keep all roads in working areas clean and free from potential hazards.

The role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
 A sound understanding of pertinent safety standards related to operation of large equipment.
 Ability to meet targets given.
 Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
 Able to follow the prescribed safety regulations and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions.
 Other duties assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum of Grade 12 certificate
 Minimum of 3 years work experience as a Loader Operator and worked on the following machines:
- Sandvik Loaders (LH514 and LH517)
- Scooptram ST1030
- Caterpillar R1600 G & H
 Valid MSD Certified Blasting License

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: High School
