EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation (MGIC), an International Non-Profit, affiliated to the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) works to strengthen health systems and reduce the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS in the operational areas. Currently, MGIC has a presence and offices in six countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including Botswana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zambia. MGIC is also locally registered in Zambia as an International organization.
Opportunity to receive donated IT and other Equipment.
Is your organization in need of Information Technology (IT) and other office equipment? If so, MGIC has an exciting opportunity for you. We are inviting Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to register their interest in receiving donated IT and other Office equipment. The equipment will be donated on "As is" Basis". This initiative aims to support organizations like yours in enhancing your operational efficiency and service delivery. The equipment to be donated include among others: used Desk top computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and scanners.
Eligibility.
To be eligible for this donation, you must be a fully legally registered Community Based Organization (CBO) involved in charity work and serving the Zambian community. Additionally, you must have been in operation for at least two consecutive years.
Required
The following information must be included in your application:
• Organization name and physical address
• Brief description of your organization's goal and mission (3 or 4 sentences)
• NGO registration status in Zambia. (Please attach proof of registration)
• Contact person and details.
• Include a brief statement on how the donation will benefit your organization. (3 or 4 sentences)
Selection Criteria
A shortlist of CBOs meeting the eligibility criteria and requirements as prescribed in part B and C respectively will be done and selected CBOs will be contacted for further details.
