JOB DETAILS:
Unifi is a fast-growing finance and technology company operating in Zambia. Unifi delivers personal lending products through mobile phone and branch channels. The company is well supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with vast experience in entrepreneurship and lending.
Unifi is seeking an experienced fundraising relations specialist to join our team. The fundraising relations specialist will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with debt investors and stakeholders to support Unifi’s financial and strategic goals. This role involves maintaining debt investor satisfaction, addressing their inquiries and providing insightful updates on the organization’s performance, Originating new debt investor channels, and executing new deals against targets.

Responsibilities:
Debt Investor relationship management
Be part of a team that develops and executes comprehensive fundraising plans to meet the Organization’s financial goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential debt investors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for debt investor inquiries and concerns.
Communication and Reporting:
Deliver regular updates on the organization’s performance, financial health and strategic initiatives to debt investors.
Strategic planning and support:
Collaborate with senior management to align debt investor relations strategies with the organization’s goals.
Provide input on strategic decisions based on debt investor feedback and market trends.
Event Coordination:
Organize and manage debt investor meetings, briefings and events.
Ensure effective communication and follow-up after debt investor events.
Attend debt investor exhibitions, events and workshops.
Market and debt investor insights:
Monitor industry trends, debt investor behavior and market conditions to inform and refine debt investor relations strategies.
Conduct market research to identify new potential debt investors and funding opportunities.
Documentation and compliance:
Maintain accurate records of debt investor interactions and feedback.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies in all debt investor communications.
Due diligence and covenants:
Take keen interest in understanding all fundraising legal documents
Work hand in hand with finance team on matters relating to our fundraising program.
Understand key covenants to ensure compliance.

• Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, business administration or a related field
Minimum 5 yrs experience in debt investor Relations, financial services or similar role.
Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
