About PCZ
• Project Concern Zambia (PCZ), is a local Zambian independent organization, established in 2019. PCZ work focuses on strengthening community public health and social protection systems to sustainably support inclusive development, HIV epidemic control, increase access to quality integrated health care and social protection among vulnerable communities, and foster climate resilience. PCZ leverages the existing community ecosystem and collaborates with community-led organizations, the government, and the private sector to serve targeted vulnerable communities and populations. Currently, PCZ is reaching over 100,000 vulnerable children, adolescents, and caregivers in over 200 communities in Central, Muchinga, Northern, Southern, and Western Provinces of Zambia. Current donors include the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/President’s Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), Churches Association of Zambia (CHAZ)/Global Fund, and American Private Foundations.
• PCZ seeks to recruit a Grant Accountant to provide overall support in the financial management of the CHAZ/Global Fund projects.

Job Summary
• The Grant Accountant will provide overall support in the financial management of the CHAZ/Global Fund projects implemented by PCZ, including budget development and monitoring in line with the approved workplans, producing timely and quality donor reports and reconciliation of projects and their close out. S/he will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Global Fund/CHAZ rules and regulations, legal and regulatory requirements governing all awards and ensures projects are implemented in compliance with PCZ’s policies and procedures. The Grant Accountant will work closely with program Management staff to analyze financial reports against donor reporting requirements, track grants expenditures monthly, and utilize financial and program data for management decisions. S/he will ensure that efficient accounting and finance systems exist that will accord maximum support to project managers and as act as a platform for providing sound financial information to PCZ management and donors.
