JOB DETAILS:
The Role:
• Junior / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, to join our Lusaka office.

Key duties will include, but not limited to:
• Tendering/Estimation: Complete take-off of quantities, and apply rates for relevant trades, subcontractor engagement / communications and quotation analysis, and finalize and submission of tender(s).
• Contract Administration, inclusive monitoring project specific budgets, project procurement, monitor site progress, process, and distribute monthly claims, process subcontractor payment schedules and payments, identify and process variations to the contract and support and assist the site supervisor / manager to deliver projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to help collaboration and achieve project objectives.

About You:
• A Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience is required. Previous experience within the commercial construction industry is beneficial. A good understanding of construction drawings. Highly computer literate.
• You should have a strong work ethic, be a team player with excellent planning and organizational skills. You should be interested in all facets of construction, with a willingness to learn and grow. You must be approachable, have good communication skills, and willing to embrace challenges. You should be able to work autonomously when necessary.
