Position Overview:
• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Loan Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing loan applications, analyzing financial data, and mitigating risks. As a Loan Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of loan applicants and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Review loan applications and assess the financial status of applicants.
• Analyze credit reports, income documents, and other relevant information to determine loan eligibility.
• Calculate debt ratios, evaluate collateral, and assess overall risk factors.
• Communicate with applicants to gather additional information or clarify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to underwriting.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Loan Underwriter or similar role in the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and loan underwriting software.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
