JOB DETAILS:
Bigtree Brands (BTB) is a dynamic Company and has rapidly grown into one of the largest beverage companies in Zambia. We are urgently searching for highly motivated and result oriented individuals.

LOCATION: MULTI FACILITY ECONOMIC ZONE (MFEZ), LUSAKA

2. MACHINE SPECIALIST
• Reporting to the Asset Care & Maintenance Manager, the Machine Specialist plays a pivotal role in both preventive and corrective maintenance within the production environment. The primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability and optimum performance of specialized machinery through expert maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and repair.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance (Breakdowns)
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to maintenance procedures and machinery operation, based on hands-on experience and technical expertise.
• Collaborate and communicate with PM Team Leaders, Maintenance Coordinators, and other maintenance staff to ensure a cohesive approach to machinery maintenance.
• Maintain accurate Documentation and ensure Reporting
• Assist in the Training and Development of other maintenance staff, sharing knowledge and best practices related to machinery maintenance and safety protocols.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent, with specialized training on the specific machinery used in the production line.
• Proven experience as a Machine Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong background
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and proficiency in maintenance documentation.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaborative problem solving
• A deep understanding of the specific machinery that one is responsible for, including its mechanical, electrical, and possibly software components.
