JOB DETAILS:
Aller Aqua produce fish feed for freshwater and saltwater aquaculture. Aller Aqua is a family-owned company. It has factories in Denmark, Poland, Germany, Egypt, China, Zambia and Serbia, and we export our products to more than 70 countries worldwide. We have a broad and professional product range, consisting of feed for 30 species of fish.

1. POSITION: Tech Director
REPORTING TO: Managing Director
LOCATION: Siavonga, Zambia
Key Responsibilities :
• Troubleshooting and Implementing Quality Assurance Systems.
• Raw material Costing.
• Liaison with the group R&D and Quality Departments.
• Liaison point with Key Stakeholders and Customers
• Control over raw material stock volumes.
• Maintaining internal stock and quality controls.
• Management of laboratory and staff.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing multidisciplinary technology teams.

Qualification And Attributes :
• Suitable technical qualification (B.Sc. (Agriculture), Agriculture. Tech), with animal nutrition as a major.
• Five (05) years’ Operational experience in Livestock Feed Manufacturing.
• Sound scientific mind and be mechanically inclined, with experience in feed mill troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, factory automation, and data analytics.

2. POSITION: Accountant – Receivables
REPORTING TO: Accounting Manager
LOCATION: Siavonga, Zambia
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that books of accounts are reconciled and closed daily.
• Prepare receipts for payment receipts.
• Ensure petty cash for both Lusaka and Siavonga is replenished timely.
• Ensure the work is executed in accordance with accounting principles, policies and processes regulated by IAS/IFRS (Accounting standards).
• Ensure customer receipts are processed within agreed terms.
• Ensure customer reconciliations are prepared accurately and on time.
• Ensure month-end close journals/postings are correct and on time. These include; prepayments, revaluations, currency fluctuations and depreciations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations such as PAYE, NAPSA and WHT.
• Resolve problems concerning all stakeholder accounts.
• Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of ad hoc reports.
• Ensure daily cash payments are received and processed timely and accurately.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the Net Working Capital report for on-ward circulation to Senior Management is done.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications And Attributes:
• Full Grade twelve (12) Certificate.
• At least three (3) years previous experience as an assist accountant or related position.
• Business/accounting Diploma is preferred (ZICA/CIMA/ACCA I or II)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Team player and work in a multicultural team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
