JOB DETAILS:
Are you an experienced poultry professional looking for an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee a large-scale poultry farm? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Poultry Farm Manager in Chisamba, Zambia.

Responsibilities:
– Manage, supervise, and train poultry workers to ensure efficient farm operations.
– Oversee all aspects of chicken rearing operations.
– Perform and/or supervise all vaccination, debeaking, and medication operations.
– Organize and supervise poultry house maintenance and cleaning.
– Understand and work towards production targets set by management.
– Manage and record production, feeding, and mortality information accurately.
– Coordinate marketing and sales operations for poultry products.

Requirements:
– Minimum 10 years of experience in poultry farm work.
– Tertiary qualifications in agriculture (animal sciences will be an added advantage).
– Experience and qualifications in chicken vaccination and medication.
– A solid understanding of poultry management and maintenance operations.
– Good computer skills for record-keeping and data management.
– Excellent communication and people management skills.
