JOB DETAILS:

Job Responsibilities
• Safely drives and operates Tanker truck units
• Completes all required paperwork on a daily basis, such as pre/post trip inspection reports and field level risk assessments
• Understand, perform and safely execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which detail safe off-load Instructional guide specifically related to the handing of fuel or fluids.
• Able to communicate with customers in a deeper level related to SOPs
• Must maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries
• Reading and comprehending safety data sheets
• Able to work independently while under some pressure to meet customer deadlines
• Able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds

Qualification
• Minimum Grade 9 school certificate, but Grade 12 school certificate is an added advantage.
• Minimum two (2) years verifiable Tanker driving experience and five (5) years tractor trailer driving experience
• Valid PSV drivers licence class CE G, D – (Reflecting five (5) years’ experience)
• Good experience of handling a Truck with Super link Trailer is an added advantage
• Must have valid Dangerous Goods and Defensive Driving Certificates preferably from (ENAC)
• Must be medically fit
• Clean driving records a must
• Able to pass random drug tests
