JOB DETAILS:
• Simba International School, has over 30 years of providing world class education from Early Years Reception following the Cambridge syllabus.
• The secondary school caters for students aged 11 to 18 pursuing studies from Form One to Form 6 ( A’ Level).
• Simba offers both day school and boarding facilities. The population of students and teachers is culturally diverse.

Job Purpose
• To interpret and create programmes of study in English and History up to A’Level.
• Be up to date with the Cambridge KS3, IGCSE In English and History
• Maintain consistently high academic results in English and History through effective teaching of English and History to achieve desired outcomes.
• To regularly assess and review students progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians in line with school procedures.
• To work with Departmental Heads to develop and monitor effective schemes of work, syllabus coverage and standardized assessments.
• To work s part of a teaching team and where appropriate, help develop other staff.
• Be a designated Tutor and key home-school link for students through various educational online platforms .

Qualifications
• A Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and History from a recognized University
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge Syllabus up to A ‘Level
• Able to teach in a multi-cultural environment
• Computer literate and versatile; able to use technology extensively in teaching
• Must be a team player
