JOB ADVERTISEMENT: MULTIPLE POSITIONS
Euro Africa Kalengwa Mine in Mufumbwe, North Western Province, is looking for motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

1. Mine Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee mining operational strategies to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations and safety standards.
• Manage mine budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
• Lead, mentor, and manage mining teams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in mining, including 5 years in leadership.
• Membership with a professional mining or engineering body (e.g., EIZ).
• Proficiency in mining software (e.g., SURPAC, AutoCAD).

2. Environmental Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and monitor environmental management plans.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments.
• Oversee waste management, water use, and rehabilitation activities.
• Train staff on sustainability practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Proven experience in environmental management (preferably mining).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 standards.

3. Artisan Fitter
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems in mining operations.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate mechanical parts as needed.

Qualifications:
• Trade certification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.

4. Artisan Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain instrumentation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve control system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in industrial instrumentation systems.

5. Safety Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safety management systems.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture in mining operations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH).
• 5+ years of experience in safety management (preferably mining).
