JOB DETAILS:
Job Role
As a Digital Communications and Community Associate, you will be vital in enhancing the digital presence and community engagement for BongoHive, BongoHive Consult, and Hive Coworking. Your work will involve creating and managing content across digital platforms, organising events, and building strategic partnerships to effectively promote our brands and services.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Communications:
• Research and write industry-related content in entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and coworking.
• Draft, edit, and publish well-structured content using digital platforms.
• Create and distribute marketing copy to enhance brand awareness.
• Interview professionals to incorporate insights into blog posts and articles.
• Optimise content using SEO strategies and conduct keyword research.
• Monitor and promote content on social networks to drive engagement.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to produce high-quality visual content.
• Measure and analyse web traffic and engagement metrics.
• Manage content updates for websites and multiple social media platforms.
• Write both long-form articles and short-form copy tailored to digital audiences.
• Script content for online and traditional media formats.
• Conduct research to produce thought leadership articles on business and tech trends.
Event Management:
• Plan and manage events for BongoHive, BongoHive Consult, and Hive Coworking.
• Develop budgets, marketing plans, and event objectives in line with organisational goals.
• Maintain or exceed revenue targets for events.
• Source and manage creative event elements, leveraging internal or external vendors.
• Supervise and train event staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Build long-term, value-based customer relationships through events.
• Oversee all phases of event management, from sales and planning to execution and evaluation.

Partnerships:
• Develop a process-driven approach to identify and manage partnership opportunities.
• Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and in-person visits to establish relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership opportunities with organisational goals.
• Negotiate deals following partnership contract guidelines and policies.
• Represent BongoHive, BongoHive Consult, and Hive Coworking in interactions with partners.
• Measure and report on partnership outcomes, including co-branded content and event collaborations.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and explore growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Two years minimum, proven experience in digital communications and marketing.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
• Portfolio of published content demonstrating excellent writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for business.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and strategies.
• Demonstrated understanding of technology and innovation.
• Exceptional research, organisational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from various backgrounds.
• Passion for storytelling and sharing impactful narratives.
• Service-oriented with professional presentation skills.
