Building on the success of MLH, TC4A is now expanding its reach as the African tech distributor for Lura Scan by Light AI, a pioneering AI imaging solution that differentiates between bacterial and viral infections through mobile phone-based technology.

Objectives of the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Health Business Development Officer to develop a sustainable SaaS sales model for both the Medical Learning Hub (MLH) and Lura Scan solutions, with a primary focus on hospitals in Zambia.

Further we are supporting a number of innovative access programs for oncology drugs on behalf of several multinational pharma companies.

The role also involves engaging with multiple partners in global health, NGOs, and other development partners as potential customers. Crafting a go-to-market strategy for our SaaS offerings is essential.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Drive the attainment of company revenue growth and profitability goals in the assigned territory, focusing on SaaS sales models for both MLH and Lura Scan.

2. Support coordination and onboarding of hospitals for our innovative oncology access programs.

3. Recruit and manage a lean sales team to support sales efforts.

4. Plan and execute sales activities, including developing key account strategies, implementing them, and coordinating resources effectively.

5. Identify and target hospitals as primary customers, using methodologies co-developed with the Africa CEO.

6. Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all customers, including global health partners, NGOs, and development organizations.

7. Provide in-service and training support within the assigned territory to maximize sales objectives.

8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date weekly and monthly reports for all direct accounts in the territory.

9. Collaborate with management to craft and implement a go-to-market strategy for the SaaS model, including revenue-generating marketing strategies to gain market share.

10. Develop proposals and price quotations tailored to various potential clients, including hospitals and NGOs.

11. Manage complex contract negotiations and consult on pricing strategies within the assigned territory.

12. Respond to and resolve customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

13. Attend relevant meetings, seminars, and tradeshows to promote our products and network with potential clients and partners.

Required Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a health or health-related field.

· 4-6 years of sales experience in medical device sales, health tech, or pharmaceutical industries.

· Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.

· Strong networks and knowledge in the public health sector.

· Strong conceptual and consultative strategic selling skills.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.

· High integrity and ability to work independently.
