JOB DETAILS:
Our Client, a leading provider of nutritious food products aimed at improving the health and well-being of communities is seeking dynamic and results-driven Market Development Officers to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction by:
• Market Survey
Collect price and competitor activities in the market.
Identify and Collect consumer buying patterns in the market
Collect data on consumer preferences in relation to our product.
Collect data on customer ordering patterns
• New Customer Acquisition:
Identify new customers in the allocated market.
Understand existing and potential customer location and potential for growth.
position and collect orders to share with the sales teams.
Drive demand of our products by engaging with customers.
Ensure prospective customers understand and appreciate the benefits of the Products and link them to the sales team. .
Conduct informative sessions to raise awareness about the nutritional benefits of our products and their role in enhancing overall health.
• Customer Relationship Management:
Regularly visit existing customers to maintain strong relationships and address their needs.
Organize sampling of our product in high traffic areas to create demand
• Merchandising and Retail Support:
Visit select chain stores to ensure proper merchandising of products.
Provide education to both consumers and store staff to increase product awareness and drive brand awareness .
Perform any other duties in line with the terms of reference as assigned by the supervisor .

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 School certificate
• Minimum Diploma in Sales and Marketing /Business Management or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer usage, especially MS word and MS Excel.
• Must be organized and a creative thinker.
• Must have a valid riders license.
• Excellent communication and marketing skills.
