Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organised individual to join our team as a Transport and Logistics Officer/Company Driver. This dual-role position is crucial to ensuring smooth logistics operations while providing safe and efficient transportation for company personnel and goods. The ideal candidate will combine strong organisational skills with excellent driving abilities to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities
Transport and Logistics Management:
• Plan and coordinate the efficient movement of goods, materials and equipment.
• Maintain an updated schedule of vehicle usage, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
Company Driver Duties:
• Transport company employees, clients and visitors as required in a safe and timely manner.
• Deliver and collect packages, documents and other items as directed.
• Ensure the company vehicle(s) is clean, well-maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure, etc.) and report any issues promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure safety on the road.

Qualifications and Skills
• Certificate or diploma in mechanics, logistics or transport management is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety rules.
• Proven experience in transport and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Dependable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
• Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours when required.
