• The Reformed Church in Zambia is a faith-based organization whose mission is to meet human needs holistically. The church is presently implementing a Church in Community (CnC) project which is aimed at improving the Economic well-being of the Church and the community through faith and actions. This project is being implemented with the major aim of having “A Transformed Church Serving a Transformed Community.
• In partnership with World Renew, the RCZ Church in Community will soon be implementing the YOUTH RUNNING CLUB Project in Chipata and Kasenengwa Districts of Eastern Province and are therefore looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to fill the position of the YOUTH RUNNING CLUB OFFICER.
• The position aims to support the Youth Running Clubs Project build teens (boys and girls including the vulnerable) self-esteem, deal with trauma, establish life goals, and develop a healthy lifestyle.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out needs assessment and reviews in communities to determine development interventions that are required and are consistent with the project plan.
• Coordinate the preparation of Youth Running Clubs project plans and budgets.
• Ensure availability of qualitative and quantitative project data and information for reporting.
• Build capacity of Development Facilitators, volunteers, communities and Church leaders in Life Skills issues.
• Participate in children mapping and monitoring processes in communities to ensure participation of children (including the most vulnerable) and their families in project activities.
• Facilitate communication between RCZ CnC and the project partner and ensure that Key Performance indicators are met.
• Lead periodic project surveys.
• Participate in project monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
• Ensure implementation of Audit and Risk Assessment recommendations in the youth running clubs project and their impact areas.
• Facilitate and report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on project activities, outputs and outcomes.
• Ensure effective representation of RCZ CnC to relevant stakeholder’s fora and report on them to the Programme Coordinator.

Qualifications Required
• Diploma in education, youth health and development, public health, psychology, sociology, community development, and/or other related social science field. (A degree in any related field will be an added advantage).
• Computer literate (MS Word, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint and Internet)
• Must know or willing to learn how to ride a motorbike.
• 3 years of progressive working experience in the design, management and implementation of projects and programs and/or working in project related area.
• Previous working experience in programs with focus on youth life-skills education, health and physical training and development areas would be a distinct advantage.
• Previous experience in donor funded programs for an NGO, governmental institution or donor organization.
• Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
• Team management.
• Decision making skills and ability to work under minimum supervision.
